We offer a hands-on charitable service based on the simple idea that pampering and one-on-one attention helps kids cope with difficult times.
We continued “Glamour Girls” which was founded by Meredith Gainer, Elleana Goldman, and Aubrey Berry in 2008 for the benefit of chronically ill children and the siblings of chronically ill patients staying in area hospitals or hospitality houses. Our mission to help lift the spirits of kids in stressful situations allows us to combine our love of service with our love of family.
We aspire to accentuate the inner beauty of young patients, hospitality house or hospital tag-along kids by providing artful and age-appropriate nail designs and polishing, hairstyling and even creative face painting for the youngest kids. Most importantly, we offer companionship, personalized attention, and comfort while they or their siblings are receiving medical treatment.
Custom Glamour Girls pampering sessions can be arranged during weekend hours, completely free of charge. To arrange a customized visit from our Glamour Girls team at any of the area hospitality houses or hospitals, please send an email to info@charlotteglamourgirls.org with your name and phone number and one of us will contact you personally.
